Hello and welcome!

My name is Elena, and I’m delighted you’ve found your way to my website. Here, you’ll discover a glimpse into who I am and what I do. I hope that as you browse through, you feel the compassion and love that I pour into everything I create.

My journey into floristry happened quite organically after a long and fulfilling career in beauty therapy. In 2020, my Papa sadly passed away, and creating flower arrangements became a way for me to channel my grief and honour his memory.

Through that loss and the gradual healing that followed, I found myself evolving into something new. Creativity has always been a part of me — with a natural eye for detail, colour, structure, and flow — so floristry felt like a natural extension of who I am. In just a few years, I’ve been fortunate enough to build a thriving business dedicated to my Papa… hence the name.

Alongside my floristry, I continue to run my beauty therapy business, Papa’s Pause, which I’ve proudly operated for over 30 years and still love dearly. I also run a dog-walking and pet-sitting service called Papa’s Paws — because spending time with animals is simply purr-fect.

Yes, I do spin many plates, but it works beautifully for me. I love the energy, the creativity, and the variety that each day brings. Every day offers new and wonderful experiences, and I’m grateful for them all.

With love from Papa and me.

Xx

Day of Reflection

On 8th March, the National Day of Reflection. Covid19.

On 8th March, the National Day of Reflection, we pause to remember the lives lost to Covid-19, and among them, my dear Papa. My father was a man who filled the world with courage, resilience, joy, and laughter.

Though his passing left an ache that words can scarcely hold, it also became my “why” – the quiet purpose that guides my hands and heart each day. The heart I created is a symbol of a love that can never fade, a reminder that those we have lost are never truly far from us.

We carry them gently within us, in memory, in spirit, and in love. Every arrangement I make is crafted with that love in my heart, thoughtfully shaped with the recipient in mind, and with the enduring belief that love, once given, never truly leaves.
