My name is Elena Ciesco, and I’m delighted you found your way to my website, which offers a glimpse into who I am and what I do. I hope that in browsing through, you are able to capture my inner compassion and love for the things I do.
My floristry career happened quite organically after a very long career in beauty therapy. Sadly, in 2020, my Papa passed away, and making flower arrangements became a focus to help me channel my grief for him.
That palpable loss and the gradual shedding of heartache supported my change into a new being. It happened organically, as I have always been a creative person with an eye for detail, colour, structure, and flow. I’m very passionate about what I do, and after only a few years in the industry, I’ve built a thriving business dedicated to my Papa. Hence the name.
I own a beauty therapy business, Papa’s Pause, which I’ve been running for over 30 years and still love, and also operate a dog walking and pet sitting business under the name Papa’s Paws. Being with animals is just purr-fect.
Yes, although I spin many plates now, it works wonderfully as I love the buzz and the diversity. Every day presents new, wonderful experiences.
